This policy applies to people who visit our website, contact us, express an interest in joining Singh Bikers, participate as guests, become members, attend our rides or events, communicate with us through WhatsApp or social media, or otherwise interact with Singh Bikers.

Singh Bikers is a Midlands based motorcycle community guided by Sikh values and open to all.
For the purposes of applicable UK data protection law, Singh Bikers is responsible for determining how and why personal information covered by this Privacy Policy is processed.

Submitting an enquiry or joining form does not automatically make you a member of Singh Bikers.

Singh Bikers may ask a rider to confirm that these requirements are satisfied where reasonably necessary for a Club activity.
If we need to collect or retain documentary evidence, such as evidence of a licence or insurance, we will only do so where reasonably necessary and will limit the information retained where practicable.
6. WhatsApp and Member Communications
Singh Bikers may use WhatsApp or similar communication services for Club communications, ride information and member discussions.
If you join a Singh Bikers WhatsApp group, information associated with your WhatsApp account may be visible to other members of the group.
Depending on your settings, this may include your telephone number, profile name, profile photograph and other information you choose to make visible.
Members are expected to respect each other's privacy and must not improperly use or disclose personal information obtained through Club groups.
WhatsApp and other third party communication services operate under their own privacy terms and policies.
7. Photographs and Videos
Photographs and videos may be taken during Singh Bikers rides, meetings, social activities, community activities, fundraising events and other Club events.
These may include individual photographs, group photographs, motorcycles, wider event scenes and video recordings.

• promoting Singh Bikers

• highlighting Club achievements and community activities
• promoting future rides, events or initiatives
Where photographs or videos identify an individual, they may constitute personal information.

Leaving Singh Bikers does not automatically mean that every historic photograph or video containing you must be deleted.
Requests concerning historical photographs and videos will be considered individually, taking account of applicable data protection law, the purpose for which the material is held, the individual's rights, whether the person is prominently featured, the interests of other people appearing in the material and any relevant legal requirements.
Where appropriate, we may remove, replace or stop using prominently featured individual promotional material following a reasonable request.

Club events may take place in public places or alongside other organisations.
Other members, members of the public, photographers, event organisers, news organisations and social media users may independently take and publish photographs or videos.
Singh Bikers cannot control personal information independently collected or published by third parties.
Where Singh Bikers itself subsequently republishes third party material, our use of that material will be considered separately under this Privacy Policy and applicable law.
